Hello BATs. I'm Alicia, a 3rd year teacher in New Mexico. I taught one year at an alternative high school and spent last year teaching middle school math. Last year I was forced to resign when I was unable to improve on a illegally written growth plan. My first semester, I was physically assaulted by a student and the school dropped charges. My hope is teachers will be given rights to fight against these kind of things and that new teachers will be given support.
